Wrestling Observer Radio with Dave Meltzer and myself, guest co-host Garrett Gonzales, is back.
We open up the show talking about the announcement that Cody Rhodes is facing Dustin Rhodes at Double or Nothing. We then talk about sports broadcaster Chet Coppock, who recently passed away and had pro wrestling and roller derby ties. Dave used to send him letters when he was a kid.
We then go over the New Japan show from Saturday, Alistair Overeem’s fight against Aleksei Oleinik, Angela Magana’s situation, WWE news, a rumor about CM Punk at an indie show, and a few more tidbits as it concerns wrestling, MMA, and boxing.
We close with our thoughts on the fourth Viceland documentary that is scheduled to come out in the next couple weeks on the Von Erich family.
