Wrestling Observer Live: WWE Money in the Bank recap, AEW Blood & Guts fallout

On the Sunday edition of Wrestling Observer Live, I was joined by Matt Ryan of Catalyst Wrestling to discuss all the latest in pro wrestling from this past week.

WWE Money In The Bank was Saturday night and we have a new SmackDown Women’s champion as Liv Morgan cashed in her newly won contract to defeat Ronda Rousey.

Also, Theory won the men’s Money In The Bank as a late addition. What does this mean for him and will we see him as WWE Universal Champion anytime soon?

We look at AEW’s strong week including late takes on Forbidden Door. Who stood out the most? Should AEW and New Japan run this joint show more frequently or keep it to just an annual event?

Blood and Guts on Wednesday turned out to be a wild event, setting up multiple programs — most notably Eddie Kingston and Claudio Castagnoli. Andrew and Matt give their thoughts on the show and how this stack up to other War Games-style matches.

All this and more!
