Wrestling Observer Live with Bryan Alvarez and Mike Sempervive is back with a super packed show today! We’ve got new on the Raw and Smackdown ratings, the latest on the Roman Reigns alleged steroid purchase story, Dave Meltzer joins us to talk the longest matches in WWF history and more, and then Max Smashmaster joins us to talk the Northwest Wrestling Fantasy Camp this coming weekend where you can live your dream! Following the introduction, Bryan runs down the ratings for both Raw and Smackdown. Raw’s numbers were up following a two hour gauntlet match, and Smackdown’s ratings rose sharply after declining for the last few weeks. There are other text messages including one about the Roman Reigns/Richard Rodriguez/Johnny Bravo story.
Dave Meltzer joins Bryan and Mike after the next break. They talk about the Richard Rodriguez story, then about some of the longest matches in WWE history and the debate over the real times some of these matches actually went. There is also brief talk on Tom Zenk’s cause of death.
Max Smashmaster joins the show. He, Bryan and Mike talk about a fantasy camp the New England Pro Wrestling Academy is running that allows people to come in for the day and train to be a pro wrestler. They also talk about who has attended these camps in the past, and who right now in the regular class is advancing well.
