Les and Vic return to spread holiday cheer and give you something to listen to if you need a break from all the family gatherings!
On this week’s show, Les fills us in on a recent conversation he had with Harley Race regarding Harley’s health and we also touch upon the time Les, Harley and Ricky Steamboat were doing wrestling training camps together.
Les points out something he’s been seeing for a while (11:22) but really hit home with him while watching various wrestling TV shows in the last week or so. Vic still can’t wrap his head around the finish to the Ironman match between Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair (19:48), and we also touch on the reports of WWE perhaps looking at starting international territories (27:31) along with New Japan ownership’s recent comments about time not being on WWE’s side.
We wrap up with the mailbag and answer your questions about the nicest looking belt Les ever won (40:31), thoughts on Sputnik Monroe (42:58), why WWE seems to have a way of taking special talents and making them ordinary (47:28) and memories of Tony Peters and George “Two Ton” Harris (55:34), which include a fantastic story about Jim Crockett Sr.
Thanks for listening and we hope you have a Merry Christmas and a wonderful weekend~!
