WOR: WWE quarterly earnings report, Backlash, tons more!

Wrestling Observer Radio with Bryan Alvarez and Dave Meltzer is back with tons to talk about including WWE’s quarterly earnings report and how it actually ties into Sunday’s AWFUL WWE PPV, a full review of Backlash with thoughts on all the matches and angles, Best of the Super Juniors, anniversary of Flair vs. Kerry Von Erich and tons more.

First up is talk of WWE’s latest financial report, including subscriber number and other big WWE financial news.

Roman Reigns and Samoa Joe headlined Backlash, with the crowd reaction not at all positive in Roman’s favor, with some fans getting up and leaving during the match. Dave talks about what went wrong. Backlash in general is also reviewed, a show that some feel may be a contender for the Worst Show of the Year candidate.

The lineup for this year’s Best of the Super Juniors is finally out. Dave goes over both blocks, as well as what will go down opening night.

We finish things off with talk of the night Kerry Von Erich beat Ric Flair for the NWA title, which took place on May 6, 1984.
