Dave and Bryan start off the show by running down Fastlane, which featured AJ Styles defending the WWE title in a six way. Bryan also runs down the WrestleMania card.
The New Japan Cup is up next on the dockett. Dave goes over the tournament matches, including Sunday morning’s show that had two incredible bouts. Dave also talks about the Richard Rodriguez story.
Lucha Underground sent cease and desist letters to two reporters who posted spoilers. Dave talks about how silly it is and, if anything, Lucha Underground should be happy people are talking about their product. Jeff Hardy’s arrest over the weekend was also briefly talked about.
Taiji Ishimori has quit Pro Wrestling NOAH, looking to become a free agent and work overseas. Dave talks about where he could go and what he could bring to the table. There’s also notes on Rey Mysterio and Nick Newell, the one armed fighter who is making waves in Legacy Fighting Alliance.
Mailbag questions include why Brock Lesnar would leave WWE if they let him fight before under contract, if Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt will become a team, if there was fear Chuck Wepner would shoot on Andre the Giant, Andrade Cien Almas, Roddy Piper appearing for the WWWF in 1979 and more.
