WOR: Wednesday Night War, Super J-Cup, interview with Jerry Jarrett

Wrestling Observer Radio with Dave Meltzer and myself, guest co-host Garrett Gonzales, is back. 

We begin the show talking about a story in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter about ad spending for WWE content, which also dove tails into a conversation about possible viewing habits for all the weekly TV hours of wrestling content that will be available shortly. We talk about the Super J-Cup in San Francisco, including Will Ospreay’s post-match interview and then news about Kenny Omega working a DDT show in November. 

Then, we throw it to an interview Dave did earlier this morning with Jerry Jarrett on the passing of Eddie Marlin. They also follow up on the last time Jerry was on the show, talking about the NWA, working with the Von Erichs, other promotors, and more.
