Wrestling Observer Radio with Dave Meltzer and myself, guest co-host Garrett Gonzales, is back. We first start with the news of the day including the bulk of Mark Hunt’s lawsuit being dismissed, the unfortunate ending of Matt Mitrione’s fight with Sergei Kharitonov, PAC vs. Ospreay, Ronda Rousey on Total Divas, the Royal Rumble 2020 in Houston, and why some fans aren’t giving All Elite Wrestling credit for their quick sellout.
The second half of the show is a continuation from last night on Dave’s appearance on the Phil Donahue show from 1992. We go over some of the information that we didn’t cover last night including who the plant was, Bruno Sammartino’s and Superstar Billy Graham’s relationship with Hulk Hogan at the time, and why Vince McMahon mentioned Bruno’s son on Larry King Live. We also relate the scandal to what’s going on in the world today.
