On a Sunday edition of Wrestling Observer Live, I am back once again with Matt Ryan of Catalyst Wrestling discussing all the latest wrestling news from the past week.

As we wrap up the year, we find ourselves entering WWE Royal Rumble season and there has been both speculation and rumors regarding The Rock returning at the Rumble and possibly even winning. We talk about how that could affect the build to WrestleMania, whether Roman Reigns will hang on to both belts, and how a returning Cody Rhodes could fit into all of this.

William Regal was written off of AEW television this week by being brutally attacked by MJF. There are reports that he’s headed back to WWE in some sort of behind-the-scenes executive role. How real is this and how would Regal help in WWE now?
