On the Sunday edition of Wrestling Observer Live, I am joined by Matt Ryan from Catalyst Wrestling to talk about the week’s biggest pro wrestling stories.

Antonio Inoki passed away on Friday at the age of 79. We discuss his legacy on the business and his influence on MMA’s insurgence in popularity. Matt ponders that Inoki’s contribution to the business over the last 50 years may only be topped by Vince McMahon in WWE.

WWE is bringing in Daniel Cormier to referee the Fight Pit match at Extreme Rules between Seth Rollins and Matt Riddle. Could this be the beginning of an in-ring run for Cormier and, if so, who could he go up against?

Chris Jericho had his first Ring of Honor title defense on AEW Dynamite against Bandido this week. We discuss that and Bandido getting a contract offer afterward.
