WOL: Tons of news, plus interviews with Dave Meltzer and Jimmy Jacobs!

Wrestling Observer Live with Bryan Alvarez and Mike Sempervive is back today with tons to talk about including all the non-Daniel Bryan news from the past week that we haven’t gotten to, ratings, New Japan in Long Beach line-up and more, plus we’re joined first by Dave Meltzer to talk all the stories in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, and then Jimmy Jacobs of Impact Wrestling on working for WWE, the atmosphere at Impact, and more! A fun show as always so check it out~!

We start off with ratings talk, with both Raw and SmackDown scoring high numbers. Strong Style Evolved also have their full card out, which Bryan runs down, as well as the latest on the WrestleMania card. Some text message involve Vince Russo and a possible match between Ronda Rousey and Asuka.

Dave Meltzer joins the show for the next segment, where he, Bryan and Mike talk about Raw and SmackDown ratings and Charlie Ebersol’s new football league, particularly about how while Vince McMahon had no real concrete details on the XFL, Ebersol’s league is set to launch next year with a TV deal.

Jimmy Jacobs joins the show to talk about various things going on, including just who does the constant zooming during WWE matches, the stares into the distance after the end of every WWE promo, the hats he wears on Impact Wrestling, why he took the step to go to Impact, their new “open door” policy and more.

The show closes with Jimmy Jacobs plugging his next indie dates.
