WOL: Impact Wrestling’s Allie, Dave Meltzer on WON awards
Wrestling Observer Live with Bryan Alvarez and Mike Sempervive is back today with a PACKED show talking all of the news including WWE backing down and changing the name of the Fabulous Moolah Memorial Battle Royal. Dave Meltzer joins us to talk that plus the awards issue of the Observer, then Allie from Impact joins us to talk her career! A fun show as always so check it out~!
After the first commercial break, Bryan breaks down the Observer awards and discuss what they were most surprised about. They also discuss Floyd Mayweather, who is adamant about starting MMA training for a possible match against Conor McGregor. Dave Meltzer joins the next segments. They talk about the Women’s Battle Royal name change, and the background of Moolah and why her name is controversial. Bryan and Dave also talk about this year’s Wrestling Observer awards.
Impact Wrestling’s Allie joins the show for the last segment. They talk about her Knockout’s title win, how she got into pro wrestling, where the name Cherry Bomb came from and how it grew on her, Pepper Parks becoming Braxton Sutter, how long it took her to become comfortable in the ring, her favorite matches and moments and more.
