WOL: Gronk needs work, plus your all-time favorite performers

It’s Wrestling Observer Live Saturday with Jim Valley. Before we get into all-positive talk about your favorites in the business, I need to talk about Rob Gronkowski on Friday Night SmackDown.

While he may bring publicity and eyeballs to WWE, right now Gronk doesn’t have the exact charisma for pro wrestling. Wrestling is an art that takes time to perfect. While it may not sound initially positive, I’m actually defending wrestling, wrestlers, and the effort it takes to be great in the ring and on the mic. Hopefully Gronk will take his training seriously, improve, and become a more versatile performer.

From there we talk about your all-time favorite wrestlers and performers. I talk about Jeanie Clarke and Roddy Piper. Plus I take your calls and tweets about Bret Hart, Edge, Eddie Guerrero, Captain Lou Albano, JJ Dillon, Tully Blanchard, and many more.
