B&V&C: Retro Raw and Nitro from 19 years ago this week!

Bryan & Vinny & Craig Show is back today with tons to talk about including our look back at Raw and Nitro from 19 years ago this week! Nitro has a new set, a set that reminds us that THIS COMPANY IS DYING, a nonsensical show, and Raw is a very very exciting show but perhaps even more nonsensical than Nitro. Also, memories of the great Matt Cleary and more. A packed show as always so check it out~!

The show starts with Craig talking about Matt Cleary, who unfortunately passed away due to illness.

This week’s Raw and Nitro shows were held on April 5, 1999. Nitro had Nash and Hogan not trusting each other, the Black and White battle royal which people were not a fan of, the Spring Stampede main event being set by Macho Man Randy Savage (who hasn’t appeared in months and has no power in storyline), Sting in the rafters and a main event with Flair, Goldberg, Page and Hulk Hogan in a fatal four way match that very likely had a double cross finish.

Raw had the Ministry running rampant, the smoking skull belt, Ryan Shamrock being the Undertaker’s sacrifice, Vince McMahon being weary of Stephanie’s safety despite bringing her to the same arena the Undertaker would be at, and a final segment which has the Big Show pulling down the TitanTron.
