B&V&C: Retro Raw and Nitro from 19 years ago this week!

The Bryan & Vinny Show is back today with tons to talk about including our look back at Raw and Nitro from 19 years ago this week! Two pretty awful shows, although the real bane of Nitro’s existence was the horrific first hour of the show. If you exclude that, Nitro was probably better than Raw if you compare the opposed hours. Goldberg vs. Flair, Steve Austin vs. Mankind, and a bunch of other goofy angles. A fun show as always so check it out, and if you want to watch this show in beautiful HD, check out video.f4wonline.com.

After Bryan reads a letter from an Observer from nineteen years ago, WCW Nitro was discussed. This was the infamous episode where the first hour was nothing but vignettes, mostly about the nWo, Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, and the still unnamed Torrie Wilson. Other segments include a very long hardcore match that had no finish,  a chain match with Lizmark Jr., Rey Mysterio vs. Scott Norton, a Bret Hart vs. Van Hammer match that had polarizing opinions, and a main event featuring Ric Flair against Goldberg.

Raw featured more on Jim Ross’ heel turn, The Undertaker tormenting the Big Bossman and putting him on a symbol, another Mean Street Posse vignette, Chyna getting hit by a fireball, Sable and her Playboy magazine, and Steve Austin vs. Mankind in the main event.

Timestamps:

Nitro: 6:30 – 41:59
Raw 41:59 – end
