Wrestling Observer Live, Mothership Edition Hour Two with Mike Sempervive featured calls ranging in topic from John Tolos to Saturday night’s AAW show, and everything in between. Hour one, featuring both Bryan and Mike, is also available on the site now. A fun show as always so check it out~!
After the intros, a caller asks about the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, John Tolos and wrestling in the area before the WWE, matches where wrestling. Another caller asks about uncles and nephews teaming together or against one another. Mike then talks about what went down at Legacy Fighting Championships on Friday.
Following the break, Mike brings up Los Angeles wrestling again, recommending a book on the history of the promotion. Other topics included independent star LuFisto battling cervical cancer as well as the toughness of wrestlers from several decades ago.
John in Arkansas talks about House of Hardcore and runs down the card from a recent event. Mike also goes over a recent RISE event, which included Toni Storm taking on Mercedes Martinez. There was also talk on streaming services and the number that are popping up across the pro wrestling spectrum. A caller brings up the Michael Elgin incident at this weekend’s AAW event and talks about the crowd’s response. Mike talks about owner Danny Daniels and his involvement in the incident.
The final segment had a caller talk about about Shawn Michaels and British Bulldog from Saturday Night’s Main Event as the show wrapped up.
